Captains Suggestions
- Bring a cooler along to keep in the car for transporting fish home after the trip. We prefer that you do not bring large coolers on the boat. There is 160 quarts of iced cooler space provided and additional coolers simply take up deck space. Most folks bring food and drinks in a bag or transfer from their cooler to ours at the dock in the morning.
- You are welcome to keep your limit of any fish allowed within state laws. No fish will be kept under the capt or mates limit for any species. We encourage the release of all fish that you do not plan on eating.
- We have all the tackle you will need but if you have a favorite rod, or one that is just plain lucky, by all means bring it along. We will be happy to rig it up for the type of fishing we will be doing on any given day.
- If you have a special request please feel free to ask about it. We love to mix it up. We are happy to target world records (We have 2 so far- womens gag grouper and mens 12 lb test snook), fly fish or use ultra-light equipment for anything, wade fish, use artificial baits, or focus exclusively on your favorite species. If you have young children with short attention spans and just want to keep them busy catching something we can do that. Some people even opt to stop at a waterside restaurant for lunch. It is your trip and we are here to make your experience exactly the way you want it to be so dont be afraid to ask.
Please Do Not Bring GPS'
GPS DEVICE WARNING!
Under no circumstances do we allow or tolerate GPS's of any kind on the boat!!!
We will throw any GPS device we find onboard over the side immediately. PLEASE make sure you and all of your passengers understand this strict policy prior to departure!
Other things we prefer do not come onboard
- Black soled shoes or harsd soled boots.
- Bananas (Bad luck)
- Large coolers
- Aerosol sunscreen! This stuff gets 90% on the boat and nearby fishing gear and just a little on you. Since sunscreen is like fish repellent when it gets on your leader or bait, we'd prefer you to use the old fashioned rub-on kind or spray yourself down before getting onboard.
- Drugs
